Vertical angles

This is a wooden floor that has painted squares on it. The lines are perpendicular to each other. This means that the alterant angles are vertical angles. I found this in the entery way to my house. Wodden floors are a decrative and practical cover to the cement base of my house. I took this picture.

Non congruent alternate interior angles

This is the meshing from an old lacrosse stick. There are two pieces of leather being intersected by a string. Because the two pieces of leather are not congruent, the alternate interior angles are not congruent. I found this lacrosse stick in my garage. Lacrosse sticks are used to play lacrosse. I took this picture.

Segmant bisector

This is a window that covers a cabinet. One of the pieces of wood is being intersected by another. It is dividing it into two equal parts. This maes it a segmant bisector. I found this object in my kitchen. Cabenets are used to keep items in. I took this picture.

Skew lines

This is a picture of a pannel that is on my refrigerator. The line segmants on the pannels do not intersect and are not parrallel so they are skew. I found this object in my kitchen. Refridgerators are used to keep food cold in turn extending the period in time in witch it is edible. I took this picture. This is an example of the food industry because it is used to hold and preserve food.

Supplementary angle that are not a linear pair

This is a coaster. The corners of the coaster forms 90 degree angles. Two 90 degree angles put together form a 180 degree angle. This means that they are suplementery. I found this coaster in my living room. A coaster is used two keep condensation from cold drinks from making stains on a wooden table. I took this picture myself. This is an exmple of the food industry because it is used to hold food.

adjacent non suplementery angles

This is the frame of a bicycle. The metal pieces of the frame come together to form two angles whos measure do not add up to 180 degrees. You might be able to find a bike frame in a bycicle shop. Bikes are used to travel for both and entertainment porposes. This is an example of metal fabrication.

angle bisector

This is a close up picture of a leaf. To of the vains of the leaf come together to form an angle. The centeral vain bisects that angle into two equal parts. You could find a leaf on a tree or other type of plant. Plants use leaves to make energy to anable the plant to function.

Congruent acute or obtuse angles

This is a profile view of a park bench. The angle from the back rest part of the bench to the seat part of the bench is an obtuse angle. There are two congruent obtuse angles on the bench. You might find a bench in a park or on the side of a street. A bench is used to sit on when waiting on somthing or taking a rest.

Line perpindicular to a plane

These are books on a shel. The edges of the book for a line that perpendicularly intersects the plane of the book shelf. You might found a book shel in a library or office. Books are used to learn and entertain. Books are an example of information technology.

Parallel lines

This is two strait lines in the middle of a road. The edges of the line are parallel. I found this object online. It is used to divide the roads into two parts for people to drive on.
This is a street sign. The edges of the sign form parallel lines. I found this object on the internet. It is used to direct people when they are driving and give them information about the street. Signs are an example of information technology.
This is a desk. The "legs" of the desk form parallel lines. You can find a desk in a study or office. It is used to do work on or perhaps hold a computer.
